For anyone that has an interest in First Aid, I would recommend completing a three day occupational First Aid Course, this will give you a good foundation in basic life saving skills. It is a good first step on the ladder for anyone wishing to pursue a career in either nursing or as a Paramedic. The Irish Red Cross run a variety of courses in this field. And as a bonus many of these courses are free to members.
